Meet Your Hosts

I'm Danny, owner of Palms Place, your perfect vacation getaway nestled in Indio, CA. Born and raised in Los Angeles, some of my fondest memories are of family road trips to the desert. Those carefree days, spent lounging by the pool and exploring local family-owned coffee shops and restaurants, have left an indelible mark on me. As I grew older and found my footing, I realized a dream - to have my personal sanctuary in the desert to spend time with my family, a place that brought back my childhood joys.

 

I take immense pride in being a family man, and it's this love for family that translates into my passion for hospitality. There's an inexplicable joy in opening the doors of Palms Place to others, allowing them to craft their own memories, just as I did. If you're visiting for the events at the Empire Polo Grounds or to simply to experience the beauty of Indio and Palm Springs, or even just to golf and chill, I've ensured that Palms Place offers you proximity, comfort, and a touch of luxury.

  • Can I charge my electric vehicle?
    Yes! There is a Tesla Wall-Connector in the garage, which provides up to 11.5 kW / 48 amp output. For Teslas, this means up about 25 – 44 miles of range per hour of charge (depending on your model). And if you don’t have a Tesla, you can still charge your electric vehicle with an adapter. Please contact me prior to your arrival if you need help with the adapter for your vehicle.
  • Do you offer early check-in or late check-out?
    I will do my best to accommodate early check-in or late check-out. Please contact us in advance to request this. Otherwise, the unique keycode for your front door smart lock will start working at 4:00 PM on day of arrival and stop working at 10:00 AM on day of departure.
  • Is the pool heated?
    Yes! If you wish to have the pool heated for the duration of your stay, there is an additional charge of $50/night or $300/week. Please let me know at time of booking or at least one week prior to your arrival if you would like the pool heated. Pool heating is generally not necessary from May to September due to the hot temperatures which heat the pool naturally, but can still be provided if needed and desired.
  • If I decide not to have the pool heated, can I still use the hot tub?
    Yes! The hot tub can be heated separately. Depending on the time of year, the additional heating charge will vary, but typically it will be $5 - $15 per hour of use.
  • Is there a BBQ?
    es! There is propane BBQ available for your use (propane is provided).
  • Do you offer concierge services?
    Yes! I have a local property manager that can pick up items from the grocery store/Costco or any store prior to your arrival or during your stay. Please just let us know in advance. There is an additional fee for concierge services.
  • Is there a washer and dryer?
    Yes! We will provide a starter amount of laundry detergent.
  • Do you offer discounts for weekly or monthly stays?
    Yes! Weekly and monthly discounts are applied when booking your stay. But please feel free to contact us with your desired dates and length of stay for more information.
  • What is the maximum occupancy?
    Per city regulation, the maximum occupancy is 2 guests per bedroom plus an additional 4 guests. So for my 4-bedroom home, the maximum occupancy is 12 guests.
  • What are the sleeping arrangements?
    My home has one king bed, two queen beds and three twin beds (two of which are part of a bunk bed). I also have one queen size and one twin size self-inflating air mattresses that are available upon request. There is also a Pack N’ Play (portable crib) available for use.
  • Is the home family friendly?
    Yes! There is a Graco Pack ‘N Play (portable crib) available on-site for your little one. And there are a bunch of pool floaties and toys available for use. Adult supervision is required for any guests under 18 in or around the pool area.
  • Can I have a party at the home?
    Per HOA regulations and out of respect for our neighbors, large parties or events are not allowed at the property. If you keep it indoors and keep it low-key, you are welcome to invite guests to the house for a celebration. Please contact us if you have would like to invite additional guests to the home that are not staying the night.
